Lodge+Kitchen
A lodge with a kitchen will be built on Teancum Ridge, near the existing pavilion. It will be large enough to seat 350 people for dining (8120 sq. ft.).
Caretaker Residence
The county regulations allow only one residence on the property, so this building will need to house both the caretakers and service missionaries. The plans include 8 bedrooms and 6 1/2 bathrooms. It will be located on Teancum Ridge.
Secondary Well and Pavilion
Another well will be drilled and a pavilion built at Helaman Heights, which will allow the Forge to accommodate a second group of campers at the same time.
Bathrooms and Shower House
The bathroom and shower facilities will be located on Teancum Ridge and will be divided for use by multiple groups.
Septic System
The approved septic system for the kitchen, bathroom, and shower facilities will be both expansive and expensive, requiring 14 septic tanks (2000 gallons each) and 8000 linear feet of drain field.
Rain Shelters
Adirondack rain shelters will be built around the property. Should it start to pour, campers will have a place to stay dry while continuing their activities.
